SPA/SALON SUPERVISOR
Employment Status: Full-Time
Age Requirement: 21 and over
Position Level: Supervisor
JOB DESCRIPTION: It is the primary responsibility of the Salon Supervisor to oversee day to day operations of the Salon including customer service, scheduling, inventory, and staffing needs. All duties are to be performed in accordance with salon’s policies, practices and procedures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum of at least one year previous Spa/Salon supervisory experience preferred.
* Minimum of at least two years customer service experience.
* Knowledge of State of Vermont general health and sanitation codes.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet and QuickBooks a plus.
* Must be able to communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral forms.
* Must have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
* Work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
* High School diploma or equivalent is required.
* Current State of Vermont Cosmetology License.
* Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
* Basic knowledge of spa software preferred.
* Previous retail experience preferred.
* Knowledge of Spa, Salon and fitness industry preferred.
